Annual Events

As a village we try to create a strong community with lots to do so that we can socialise and have fun together. Here is a selection of our annual events to look forward to:

West Farleigh Fireworks

Held at West Farleigh Sports Club, this is a family friendly evening held just after Halloween so witches, warlocks and pumpkins are welcome - with a ticket! .

The event features a supporting musical band, light refreshments (our mulled cider is delicious) for all the family, hot dogs and hamburgers.

A very big bonfire and huge fireworks display will not disappoint.

Lambing Day at Smiths Hill Farm

An amazing Mother's Day at Smiths Hill Farm. Geoff, Candy and Ollie Martin opened their farm to the public, to see the new lambs. The public flocked in!

Several were born during the time the public were there, an educational event for many.

Tea, coffee and cakes were served by the Parish Councillors. There was not even a broken biscuit left at the end of the afternoon. Everyone who went had a good time and the kids loved it.

Harvest Supper

We are very lucky in West Farleigh to have such a charming and accommodating old church in which we can celebrate occasions like the harvest festival.

Lashings  of delicious food is brought by parishioners.

There is usual a quiz, musical entertainment often provided by the very accomplished and versatile Pete & Co. The Great Thrombosis entertains us with his magic and mayhem!

President's cricket match

Held every June at the picturequse West Farleigh Cricket Club, this event pitches an invitational presidents side against the regular West Farleigh cricket team. Picnics and lots of socialising make this a fun summer event.
