West Farleigh Evergreens

This group is aimed at anyone over the age of 60 who would like to get together with like minded friends for outings and events.

The group now generally has 2 meetings each month, namely the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month.

On the 2nd Tuesday, commencing at 2:30pm, we follow our long standing programme of talks, demonstrations and visits out to numerous venues and on the 4th Tuesday it is generally a self funded luncheon based event either in the Farleighs WI hall or at a local eatery and these are usually timed to start about 12:30pm.

The group are looking forward to entertainment and enjoyment, social involvement, friendship, some brain exercising quizzes, visits to interesting local venues and excellent catering.

West Farleigh in Bloom

The village enters the South and South East in Bloom competition every summer. It is part of the wider Britain in Bloom initiative. We enter 2 categories, 'Village' and 'Churchyard' for All Saints. In our first year we received a Bronze medal, in our second a Silver medal.

We meet at the Good Intent pub on the green about once every 2 months and then additonally have gatherings to enhance certain areas on an ad hoc basis. We would love to welcome any new, we are a mixed crowd and no gardening experience is necessary.
