Fireworks: a mixed blessing!

A new tradition at West Farleigh are the Fireworks, expertly organised by the Sports Club. About 1,600 people enjoyed them this year. But not everybody looks forward to them...especially if they have dogs, cats and horses, as Mags Zak explains.

We have 6 dogs. And when buy them as a puppy we drop a metal food bowl on the floor when its empty to get the puppies used to loud noises and vacuum and create as many startling noises as we can to try and avoid the dog being scared. As we have had a dog that has been scared of fireworks. But not any more!!!!! Thank goodness
