Congratulations to West Farleigh artist Rachel Spreckley, whose fantastic painting of a Great Hornbill has been selected for Explore Against Extinction and will be exhibited at the OXO Tower London from 19th-23rd November 2025. 

 

Father Christmas is Coming to West Farleigh

Saturday 6th December

11am - 2pm

West Farleigh Church

Tickets £5 per child (includes gift)

 

Children, come and explore the delights of Father Christmas’s workshop, where the elves can help you create something special, along with visiting our secret present shop while you are waiting to speak to the big man himself.

 

Don’t worry grown-ups, there will be the opportunity to purchase some elf craft and have some refreshments while you are visiting too!

WEST FARLEIGH IN BLOOM SUNFLOWER COMPETITION

 

Congratulations to everyone who entered the competition. We had the highest number of entries for a few years and it was a pleasure to see the many displays of different heights, shapes and sizes of flowers.

The winners are:

 

16 years and under – Evie Clapp - height 3.14m

 

Over 16 years – Mike and Babita Clapp – height
3.54m

 

Trophies were presented to the winners along with a pottery sunflower cane top, hand crafted and kindly donated by Shazpots. All entrants received a lucky dip sunflower gift.
