Jim, thank you for sharing your experiences in such a wonderful article - I have to admit that I am envious of the Evergreens who heard from you first hand! It was also interesting while reading about your time with the LRDG to recognise names of places which are familiar to me from news reports of more recent conflicts (e.g. Benghazi and Tobruck), which seemed to bring another perspective to your tale. Like Jacky, I look forward very much to the next instalment...
