Beer Olympics Return to the Good Intent

West Farleigh's one & only "Beer Olympics"


Teams of 4 or more can compete in fun family friendly games on the green, all the games have a hilarious fun twist - but won't be revealed till the night before online & on the day at the pub. All games must be completed while holding "a beer" (or a plastic cup of water/drink in the interest of health & safety!)


Team colours/theme/fancy dress welcome (prize for best dressed).




Games categories as follows:


Artistic Swimming - non swimmers welcome, swimwear recommended!


Skateboarding - no experience or talent required!

Diving - obviously not real diving, water not included!


Dressage - please leave you horses at home!

Show Jumping - as above, equines not included or required!





Prizes awarded for winners!


Absolutely no sport experienced needed to compete in any of these games however competitors must sign a disclaimer prior to competing, some games can get quite competitive! All participants must be fit and well enough to carry out activities, no pregnant ladies or folks with heart conditions etc sorry!


Cost is £3 per person, all proceeds to Heart of Kent Hospice.


Pop along as a competitor or spectator, you won't be disappointed!

Tickled Trout
Quiz night on the last Wednesday of each month - get those little grey cells working
£10 per person to include burger and chips starting Wednesday 30th January at 8pm 
Band nights were such a success in the run up to Christmas that they will continue throughout the year - do go along and join in the fun
Friday 25th January 8.30pm  to 11pm - Betty and the Chevrons - free
Friday 22nd February  8pm to 11pm - Mercedes (a solo singer) - free
Bands and events will be advertised in Lifeline and on here.

The White House Petanque Club meets every Wednesday from 7.15pm
1st Sunday of the month from 12 noon

Join the White House Lunch Club on the first Sunday of each month. £11.50 for a choice of three meats, veg and dessert. You'll need to book on 01622-820520

21st December Christmas Jumpers and Jumping Carols at The White House 


David Jones will be leading Carol singing from 7.30 pm, Christmas jumpers preferred but not essential!!


24th December (Christmas Eve)


Live music with Gary O'Connor and Grand Draw - a prize hamper with turkey etc. all proceeds going to Age Concern. Tickets are 6 for £5 or £1 each





















26th December (Boxing Day) Kits Coty Morris and Mummers 


Do go along and enjoy the good old fashioned country traditions from 12.30 pm


1st January (New Years Day) Boughton Monchelsea Morris 


If you did not catch the Morris men on Boxing Day, here's another team to entertain.


There is also a Christmas Hamper draw - £1 per ticket or 6 for £5.  Proceeds to go to Age Concern
